NJ’s FIRST Men’s Pro Doubles Finalist!

Big news for any fans of New Jersey's up and coming pro pickleball players. Flemington native, Montclair Pickleball and Bounce Pickleball coach Richard Livornese Jr. took silver this past weekend at the APP Newport Beach Open with his partner Spencer Lanier, becoming the first New Jersey pickleballer to reach a Men's Pro Doubles final on the APP or PPA tour. In the process of doing so, he took out multiple top teams in the world including the dominant Johnson brothers (Hunter and Yates) as well as Ryler DeHeart and Will Sobek.

Despite having played multiple sports growing up including lacrosse and football, Richard found his true passion in pickleball. Now, after graduating and dedicating himself to being a full-time pro pickleball athlete, Richard is looking forward to dominating the sport and inspiring the next generation of players to do the same. His work ethic, hustle, and love for the game has quickly helped him rise to become a top player in the state, and now a top player in the country. We're looking forward to seeing what comes next from Richard...
